Shop for Success Lookbook
2015 Anniversary Edition
Dress for Success Central Virgnia is a Richmond based affiliate of the global not-for-profit organization that promotes the economic independence of disadvantaged women by providing professional attire, a network of support, and career development tools to help women thrive in work and in life.
In my fashion, pink no longer pigeonholes girls into softer, gentler beings. Considering our traditional psychological association with pink being a "girl" color, with the ever-changing role of women, don't you think the meaning of the color should evolve too? Lakea shows ways you can wear pink as a symbol of womanly pride in the office. With the variety of tops we have available at Shop for Success, you won't have too much trouble finding a pink one from our inventory. As artist Bianca Beetson said in The Guardian, “Pink can be quite an edgy color. I look at how it can be soft and gentle but can also be strong and powerful."
